MATCHING GRANTS AT GLENWOOD SUNDAY MARKET
Food Access at
Glenwood Sunday Market
Nearly 35% of Rogers Park residents are food insecure, meaning they don’t know when they will have their next meal or if that meal will be nutritionally sound.
It is a core value of Glenwood Sunday Market to make locally grown and produced food accessible to our whole community and has proudly been USDA approved to accept SNAP/Link/EBT benefits since opening in 2010.
To support our work to make nutrient dense food accessible to all who seek to consume it, please consider making a charitable donation to the market.
SNAP & Matching Programs
In 2026, we are proud to offer expanded Market for All initiatives to support our SNAP/Link/EBT shoppers.
Thanks to a generous grant from Link Up Illinois, SNAP/Link/EBT customers can swipe their card for up to $25 per transaction, as many times as they like each market day, with every purchase matched dollar-for-dollar on fruits and vegetables.
Through the continued generosity of our donors and supporters, we are also able to provide an additional $10 weekly match for SNAP/Link/EBT shoppers. This benefit may be used once per market week and is available alongside your first market swipe. The additional match can be used toward any SNAP/Link/EBT-eligible food purchases.
View the SNAP/Link 2026 brochure here.
Visit our Welcome Table every Sunday during the market season to learn more, participate in these programs, and shop fresh with SNAP/Link/EBT.
